Simplicity and Security
Our Google Workspace™ add-ons are developed with security and simplicity in mind, referenced in our motto Keep It Simple and Secure (KISS). It is our believe that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated; therefore simplicity is a key focus by just doing 1 thing good, instead of trying to be a swiss army knife for everything. It is also our believe that Security it one of the most important aspects of cloud applications. Many add-ons ask for too much data access to do a simple job. Our add-ons use the least required access to do one simple task. Simplicity and Security is the mantra and we love the Google Workspace platform. KISS!
3 steps
Each add-on is focused on getting one simple task done. In a max of 3 simple steps. This “rule of three” is based on the principle that things that come in threes are inherently funnier, more satisfying, or more effective than any other number. Neurologically, the brain is wired in such a way that User Experience (UX) developers and (marketing) writers around the world independently discovered the so-called “rule of three”, i.e. that a trio of events or characters will be experienced better.
As our add-ons focus on a single task, that should be effective and fun to do, the 3 steps rule is applied to ensure that the task can be accomplished in simple and effective steps.

What are Google Add-ons?
Add-ons extend the native functionality within the Google Workspace platform to increase productivity and efficiency of your working activities. Add-ons are either Google Workspace add-ons which are in the right hand side bar of Google Workspace, like Gmail™, Google Calendar™, Google Drive™, Docs, Slides, Spreadsheets and Forms add-ons. Add-ons which are only part of the document editors are called Google Docs editor add-ons.
Add-ons connect to your Google account, you don't have to install anything in your browser (or desktop) environment. This means that add-ons run in any browser on any PC. Add-ons are even supported on your mobile phone.
How Do Google add-ons work?
Google Workspace add-ons are offered via the official Google Workspace marketplace, which you can also directly access via the add-on menu in Docs, Sheets, Forms and Slides. Add-ons in the Google Workspace marketplace are vetted by Google. Checks are done on the consent screen, privacy statement, marketplace listing and various other elements.
Our add-ons are based on the Google best practices and hosted 100% on the Google Cloud™ infrastructure. Meaning they fit perfectly within Google Workspace. In relation to privacy & security; your data is kept only in your Google Workspace environment. It is your process, your data, in your own Google Workspace environment.
